Lysa Flower is the designer of several collections with Paintbrush Studios, including Le Mini Golf, Sunshine Inn, 9 to 5, and more! She lives in the Fraser Valley, about an hour away from Vancouver, BC.
Lysa has been professionally designing fabric since 2020. Her design path started in the early '90s; she went from printmaking, to classical animation, to Halloween costumes, and then into quilting and fabric! Lysa describes her design style as "happy retro made modern" and is a firm believer that a big part of creativity is being curious. Many of her designs showcase her love for different eras of history, specifically pop culture, and imagining what it must have been like to have lived in those eras!
If she isn't busy researching for her next collection, Lysa LOVES to travel, go to movies, see live music and comedians, visit galleries, as well as putter in her garden.
